Am I Left or Am I Right?

Am I left or am I right?
Am I a simple meek little sheep?
Where will I stand that last night?
What will my actions reap?

Will I be attentive to my God
In his million masks in the street?
Or duck my head in cowardly nod
To keep my life nice and neat?

When the Son sets at last
Will I have loved Him like I ought
Or will I be under a spell I cast
Among the finite works I wrought?
