Is it not Joyous?

Is it not joyous to live by the rule
That God is the wiseman and I am the fool
That I am the child, who must stay by His side
And quickly embrace Him with arms open wide?
Is this not joy to be able to say
'I love you!' a gazillion times each day?
To play hide and seek with the man on the cross
It'd be hell not to play, to suffer that loss
Like the Woman, our mother who watched Him die
What a terribly sad way to say 'bye'
Which will make it an ever more joyous event
When He rises again after this Lent

God bless,
