Noise

Flaring wings tease and buzz

Threatening behind their feisty fuzz

Yet God has gifted these to me with thought

Of appreciating what the silent Word has got

Burden is Light

God bless,

Joshua Fahey

Burdened

Crafted for the sacred road

Two legs on four to walk, and walk

He evenly yet unsteadily strode

The very burden of His talk

For us he turns His Face unto

With a smile He asks in love

For us to take His yolk and move

With Him along to Home above

God bless,

Desert Spit Take

Desert be either hot or cold
Be sweet and bitter and bold
If you do not have any flavorful clout
I will spit you out

God bless,

Brew

A small carafe of water
Smaller grounds of beans
Wafting scent of coffee
A familial scene
