Have you ever ever seen?

Have you ever ever seen a farmer planting seeds
After digging furrows and ridding all the weeds?
Have you ever seen a farmer doing these humble deeds?
Then you may know
How God might sow

Have you ever ever seen a farmer praying for rain
Or walking slowly across his irrigated plain
Or working day to day to forget his aching pain?
Then you may know
How God might sow

Though we have seen this world as a walking path
Choking on our vices or snatched by demons’ wrath
He showers out his grace, drowns us in such a bath
Because He knows
Our highs and lows
