Hello Mary my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
For a depression softly creeping
Within my soul has been steeping
And the thorn that was planted in my heart

In the sound of praying

In restless dreams I walk alone
Far off the path your son has shown
But the angel took my hand and stayed
And kept awake until I obeyed

While he hung dying upon the tree
