In the dark void of our minds
Lies a fear that harms and binds
But a lover surely finds
How to open up the heart
When we're our own core the devil grins
For the foolish clown wins our sins
When our sense of other slowly thins
And we close off our heart
So let us open eyes and hear
Of every friend and every peer
Who makes music on this lowly sphere
