Who would stand before the hungry wolves
Who would watch us every day
Who would guide us eating, sleeping
Who would shepherd us I pray?
Who looks at us with loving glances
Who cares how we rest and drink
Who comforts us when we are broken
Who shepherds us, what does he think?
He whose living water overflows
Whose very body is our meal
Whose suffering helps us grow
Tis Jesus Christ who keeps us real.
