If I had to guess
(which unfortunately I might)
About the thoughts of people
On ascension and on plight
I would have to guess that
(Yeah I knew I would)
Plight would bring out laughter
Ascension would bring out good
But in my broken mindset
(If I had to guess)
I would rather set to sea
And think of people less
