A simple building made of wood
A single steeple with a single bell
Gives rest to weary folk and peace
Within an oasis from a worldly hell
A simple meal made of simple gifts
A single loaf and a single cup
Satiates the starving souls who eat
Down comes the Spirit who lifts us up
