Every dandelion carved with care
Every yellow petal pressed
With a patience I'd never dare
The same tenderness with which I'm blessed
Every blade of jade whetted
With the edge of unfailing hope
Every need of every creature meted
Beyond my finite scope
In a world of alien marvels
Yet in a home so warm with joy
Mary smiles as she warbles
Lullabies to her baby boy
And on a path of which I've tired
Such wonders keep my soul unmired
God bless,
