Melody

Met in tired lullabies
That drift along the railroad ties
On those gentle tracks
And clickety clickety clacks
Two souls that should never meet
Two harmonies incomplete
Seeking out a melody
That would set them free
But once entwined in Fate's strings
No paupers, priests, or kings
Can unbind what Heaven has bound
Can unfind what God has found
But to those who pray sincere
His melody rings to those who hear
