No matter the army or war
God’s angels comfort and sing
God’s people praise and soar
No matter the time or space
Eternity cannot be o’ershadowed
By temporal powers in place
Or limited armies embattled
No matter the goal or method
No matter the gain or loss
God came amongst the indebted
And redeemed the many by the cross
