Assumption

Who knows the thoughts of the divine?
Who treasures some bread and a cup of wine?
And honor the simple chest where they laid
A heart uncorrupted, whose love didn't fade

God bless,

Assumption

Here is my assumption
In truth I do abide
That God's assumption
of Mary to His side
Indicates an assumption
Of us when we'll have died
And a continual consumption
Of the savior crucified

UPDATE:
It has come to my attention via the many voices that plague my thoughts that resurrection might be a better word for the fifth line instead of assumption. But resurrection doesn't rhyme with assumption. In fact the only other word I could think of that rhymes with assumption was consumption, which with continual also should more accurately be 'eternally receive' in the seventh line. But again I mention the rhyming, therefore I stick out my tongue at thee, knaves :-P.

God bless,
