Root of Jesse

God bless,

>P<

Joshua Fahey

Radix Jesse

The root of merry joy at this hour
Blossoms like a Christmas flower

God bless,
>P<
Joshua Fahey

O Root of Jesse

Bone dry and bereft of life
A drop of joy from the sky
Color returns to the heart
Leaving the path of the dead awry

God bless,
>P<
Joshua Fahey

O Root of Jesse

God bless,
>P<
Joshua Fahey

O Radix Jesse! O Root of Jesse!

Awaiting the Root of Jesse's line
For to kneel to the king divine

God bless,
>P<
Joshua Fahey

O Root of Jesse!

On the barren desert of mankind
On the caked desolation of dried clay
Bereft of water, flowers, as the winds wind
Along the crowded easy way
Ask for Jesse's root to sprout
Within your heart from inside out
A sign for the lost and the hopeless and grieved
Drawing from eternal water, the bane of thirst
A hope for all who have believed
A flower of courage from the son born first

God bless,
>P<
Joshua Fahey

O Radix Jesse

O Radix Jesse

God bless,

>P<

Joshua Fahey

O Root of Jesse

O Radix Jesse, of the holy royal line

The promised one, who with authority

Comes to us with the divine sign

By being born of pure virginity

God bless,

>P<

Joshua Fahey

O Root of Jesse!

God bless,
>P<
Joshua Fahey

O Radix Jesse

O Root of Jesse mark
All who have left the dark
And be our flag our sign
Showing all your design

God bless,
>P<
Joshua Fahey
