Disaster can fall at any time
Without any knowing the reason or rhyme
Fortune and safety will turn on a dime
Targeting the lowly or those in their prime
Those innocent or guilty of crime
An egalitarian act so sublime
That any saint, scum, or slime
Drinking water, or drinking lime
Can be subjected to it at any time
