Dearth of light
That warmth is what I lack
Darkness
The cold upon my back
And nothing I can do, can bring me close to you
Sear my eyes
That is why my eyes are shut
Open eyes
Hand pulls me out of my rut
Submit my life to yours, for light shall open doors
