The Camel

Given gold of gallant weight
Sitting on several silver plates
Enough wealth for the sake
Of the camel that lost his eye

Wetted worms woven well
Priceless porcelain pitchers fell
Into the ring of the exit bell
Which the camel did espy
Centuries have I sojourned to see
With the value of an ever vanished plea
Who cares for crooked cranks like me
After the camels die?

God bless,
