Ritual

Ceramic gears and plastic grips
Rubber bottoms to prevent slips
Spoon the beans into this glass
Round and round grinding fast
Aromatic grains burnt black
Once its done, another tact
Bubbled water, steaming, poured
Start the timer, the kitchen's lord
A morning ritual complete
A cup of coffee, a sacred feat
