There would be no more anticipation
For the coming emancipation
On that blasphemous day
When the cross's connotation
Deals with death's dark denotation
On that historical annotation
Of our God's death day
But rejoice with exaltation
For death fell under domination
And we continue adoration
Of that astounding third day
