Lord, I know my ways are wicked
How unhappy they make you
How hateful they are
But I thank you for your patience
Your kindness keeps me turning back to you
Your mercy clears my heart
Lord, keep me from the wicked path
Put me again on the path of righteousness
Though my strides may not be as long as even a child's
