Learning to Walk

When all greys have turned black
And I can idle no longer
I stumble and crack, but rarely get stronger

Weak as a lamb, dumb as a rock
Impatient and eager
Trouble seeker... finding trouble? A shock

Through the morass of unused grace
Broken in spirit, I finally place
My fate in the race in his holy face

My idiocy still shows, shallow and clear
My patience does grow in prayer
Boldly I dare to tremble in his fear

God bless,
