Riddled poem

So I did a set of haikus about games here. Perhaps not explained, but they were of video games, and in case you didn't want to guess -
    first haiku is Angry Birds;
    second haiku is Monkey Island;
    third haiku is Tetris.

In the same spirit I thought I'd do a riddle, answer will be given in Friday's post. Post comments with your guesses.

Curiously packed traveling through heather
Thought to be alone but unexpectedly together
Amber globes float around the park
Like the sun they fight the dark
Neverending roads beneath moonlight pale
Sky deep thoughts, an inquisitive tail
Inquiries into whether friend or whether foe
Reveal dilemma of hunter or companion to know
Nocturnal minds seek truth, through dark they claw
Dismissing clouds and mist and the raven's caw
Enough clues have been said to thee
Look through the words, can thou see?

God bless,
>P<
