Prayer of the bewildered

As surely as I've made my mind
The grass is purple, if it exists
In oblique corridors I find
Many such nonsensical lists
So I cry, hear me God

The purpose of my Wonderland
Is to breathe while dying slow
To believe time reverses sand
My Wonderland's a prison floe
So I cry, hear me God

Kamikaze birds move through
Arachne's woven wonders clear
The poison lies, forgets the true
Til God's breath my ear does hear
So I cry, hear me God

On the merry wind of light
A message for those in chains
A man came and freed wrong and right
By enduring horrendous pains
So I cry, hear me God

This God Made Man (Redeemer King)
Has paved the way to be saved
Trees, beasts, stone, and birdies sing
Fallen man can be behaved
So I cry, hear me God

To take us to His Father's home
He taught us to accept God's Grace
Set up a base in eternal Rome
So any man might see God's face
So I cry, hear me God

With hope and faith I face this earth
The cross burdened on my heart
So I may Love the least of worth
His holy body, I may be a part

So I cry, thank you God

God bless,
