Body

Strings and voices sting and stick
Connect solemnly, without a trick
Burn radiantly like a candle wick
Heavenly web has sculpted

A body lonely but not alone
A mind carefully, lovingly not of stone
A soul offering to atone
The man on the tree, our head

Hope and joy breathed into mud
Passion, like wine, flows our blood
Each life a sparkling star lit bud
Each body a piece of bread

God bless,
