Well on Laetare (translates to (more or less) rejoice (I have it on good authority by people who know more latin than I do (which is a lot of people))) Sunday this year our old testament readings talks about the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple (see picture), the Babylonian captivity, and subsequent return to Israel.
