Personhood questions

What is a person?
Are you a person?
Why are you a person?
Is it because you are human?
In whole or in part?
What other factors are involved?
If humans die are they no longer persons?
So are humanity and life the only two factors involved?
Is there another?
If there isn't, then is it true that when any human has life they are a person?

At the moment of conception what happens?
When a sperm and an egg meet do they create a full human DNA genetic sequence?
Is that genetic sequence unique from its parents?
So at the moment of conception are we human?
Are we alive?
As soon as conception happens do we grow? Do we intake energy and expend it? Do we start a continual chain reaction until death?
Does that not make the moment of conception the first point at which we are both human and alive?

If there are only two factors involved in the establishment of personhood, humanity and life, then is not the moment of conception the beginning of personhood?
If it isn't, how would we know?
If there is another factor to being a person what can it be?

God bless,
